Readings for the Sunday Services

The Lectern

" "
At most services the Gospel is read by the clergy or one of the servers and the other two readings by volunteer members of the congregation. There are usually two readings from the Bible each Sunday at Parish Communion and one at the All-age Communion.

Check the current Pew Sheet for the readings written out in full.

Read about the Revised Common Lectionary from a website called Sunday School Lessons. Although an American site and aimed at children, there is quite a good explanation of different aspects of the Church Year.
