The Lord be with you. |

and also with you. |

| The president says
the Blessing which always ends: |
| |
...and the blessing of God almighty,
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
be among you, and remain with you always. |
| All |
Amen. |
| |
|
| |
Go in peace to
love and serve the Lord. |
| All |
In the name of Christ. Amen. |
| (or) |
|
| |
Go in the peace of Christ. |
| All |
Thanks be to God. |

Dismissal means 'sending away'.
The blessing pronounces God’s favour and goodwill. Worship
is not something isolated from our daily life, but incorporated
into it. At the end of the Eucharist Jesus sends us out just as
he sent out those twelve disciples to carry on his work. So we
leave to serve God knowing that he is always with us. |
