New health strategy puts churches at the heart of development

‘It is easy to say that prevention is better than cure, but it takes courage and deep collaboration to turn this into a reality... USPG is building on its considerable history with an innovative approach that is very exciting.’
Archbishop Rowan Williams

Yesterday, we were delighted to launch our new health strategy at Lambeth Palace, with the support of Archbishop Rowan Williams.

Too often health is seen in terms of clinical and medical intervention. USPG's new health policy puts the emphasis on prevention and on re-connecting communities and hospitals.

Local churches are key, bringing people together to address concerns and find solutions.
