ST. JAMES'S CHURCH NOTICES

Church Notices

Church Notices

" "
This page shows the church notices. Most of these can also be found on the weekly pew sheet.

Pew sheets (now also available in large print format) are prepared by our parish administrator and handed out at the Sunday services by the sidespersons. They enable people to follow the scripture readings and provide a means of passing on news and notices.

If you would like to add a notice to the weekly pew sheet, please contact the office (by 09.00 Wednesday for the following Sunday please).

If you would like to add a notice to the website, please contact the webmaster.

Notices

CONGRATULATIONS to the Revd. Debbie Oades who is to be Assistant Vicar in the Parish of Maybush, Southampton in the Diocese of Winchester. Debbie’s last Sunday is Sunday January 30th.
NEWS FROM HEGONGO SCHOOL Take a look at the letter on the mobile noticeboard. It gives an update of the school furniture that our parish contribution of £200 has helped to make possible.
ALL SAINTS YOUTH GROUP
Julie Gittoes at All Saints, Hampton (0208 941 4424) extends a warm welcome to any of our young people who would like to join their youth group.
VESTRY HOUR
Baptism and wedding enquiries should be made in person in church on a Saturday morning between 10 and 10.30am.
INTERCESSIONS

If you want prayers to be said in the intercessions for particular people or issues, please notify one of the Churchwardens, or leave a message with the Parish Office.
VICAR’S DAY OFF
Peter takes Friday as his day off. This means that he will only be available on that day in the event of a pastoral emergency. The church office is usually open on Friday mornings for all routine enquiries.
COFFEE ROTA
Volunteers are required to make coffee after Parish Communion. Please sign up on the notice at the back of the church. See our Parish Breakfast page
GETTING TO CHURCH
Would you like to come to church on Sundays, but need transport? Do you drive to church and have space for extra passengers, perhaps once a month? We already have some volunteer drivers and would like to expand on this service. If you can help, or would like help, please telephone Liz Butler on 020 8977 4227.
ST PAUL’S CATHEDRAL
The Church Office has four cards offering free admission to our Diocesan Cathedral: please ask for details or to borrow these if you’re heading up to London!
