On Monday13th September, St.James's Ark celebrated its first birthday.
It didn't seem possible that a whole year had passed since we waited
nervously to open the doors for the first time. Offering friendship,
toys, art and craft, singing and refreshments has gone down very well
and we have had on occasion to limit numbers.
We marked this milestone with a short service of thanksgiving with communion,
followed by a delicious Ark cake, made by Carole Greville-Giddings and
this celebration was thoroughly enjoyed by adults and children alike.
We are looking forward to another successful year.
