2000 - 2009:
David Brodowski's Concert - 2003 February

David Brodowski

" "
On Friday 28th February David Brodowski gave a brilliant concert in aid of the “Opening the Doors” Appeal. He was ably accompanied by our own organist, Christopher Cromar.

The concert included Beethoven's Sonata in F major, op.24 (Spring), Cesar Franck's Sonata in A major, Six Romanian Folk Dances by Bartok and the Fantaisie Brillante by Wieniawski.

David Brodowski made his debut with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra aged 16 (Paganini 1st Concerto) and has subsequently given many recitals and performances with leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic. Now, at only 25, David is already acclaimed as one of the finest violinists of his generation. Now resident in London, he continues to perform throughout Europe in recital and with leading orchestras and conductors. He studies with David Takeno.

Christopher Cromar studied at Chetham’s and the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris. He is increasingly in demand as pianist, organist and accompanist and recent performances have taken him to several of the leading venues in London (St John’s Smith Sqare, Westminster Cathedral, St Paul’s Cathedral) and abroad.
