The first Annual General Meeting of the Guild was held on January 3rd last. The Hon. Secretary gave an interesting report on last year’s activities and said that at the end of 1932 the membership numbered thirty seven. The Hon. Treasurer produced his Balance Sheet which showed a balance of about £10.

The Committee for 1933 was elected. The Vicar congratulated the members on the success of the first year, and said he was pleased that they had kept the important rule of the Guild concerning their attendance at Church and their corporate Communions. He hoped that the members would continue to answer the appeals for help in the parish as readily as they had the request for assistance in dealing with the house-to-house canvassing in connection with the Forty-five Churches Fund. The Hon. Sec. for 1933 is Mr.L. W. Stevens, and the Chairman is Mr. F. Harding.

The Guild held a very successful Dance on January 7th, the balance being between six and seven pounds.
