New Testament |
The part of the Christian Bible which was written by the early church about Jesus. There are four Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John - that tell the story of Jesus. There are also some letters, many written by St Paul, which give advice about what Christians believe and how they should behave. The Acts of the Apostles, considered to be by the author of Luke's Gospel, tells the story of the early church. The Book of Revelation is a series of descriptions of an apocalyptic future. |
